Meet the Precision Rotor, a core component of BrewTech’s motorised puck cleaning system, designed to release espresso pucks in a controlled and repeatable way, without knocking, impact, or manual force.

Available in sizes ranging from 51 mm to 58 mm, the rotor is designed to fit standard portafilter baskets. This ensures consistent performance and reliable puck removal in various setups.

The rotor geometry is carefully shaped to break up the puck efficiently while allowing coffee grounds to separate cleanly and fall freely into the container. Surface angles and transitions are optimized to prevent grounds from sticking, keeping the rotor clean during operation and avoiding buildup over time.

Manufactured from a stable, high-strength polymer, the rotor combines durability with low mass, enabling smooth operation and reduced mechanical load. The black material is chosen for its functional properties and resistance to residue and discoloration.

Produced using additive manufacturing, the rotor’s design takes advantage of precise, complex geometries that support controlled puck release and repeatable performance. This manufacturing approach also allows continuous refinement and consistent quality across small production runs.

When paired with the brush module, the Precision Rotor forms the first step in a defined cleaning process, efficiently releasing the puck and preparing the portafilter for final residue removal, without interruption to the espresso workflow.
